Summer 2024: First Visit to Santa Rosa

We made our first trip to Santa Rosa and connected with the amazing team at the local school. Meeting Principal Dr. Alvarez Joel Meda and Professor Viviana, we learned about the challenges their students face every day.

What we accomplished:

• School supplies for every student for the entire year

• Kitchen utensils so mothers could cook warm meals for the kids

• Stuffed animals to bring smiles to the children

Summer 2025: Growing Together

We came back to see our friends in Santa Rosa and brought even more support for the students. This visit also helped us dream bigger about what we could do together.

What we accomplished:

• Books to help kids discover the joy of reading

• Clothing for students who needed it most

• Planning sessions with Principal Dr. Meda for an exciting new project: a safe play area with proper ground fill and netting to keep balls from rolling down the hill

January 2026: Building Partnerships

This year started with something special—Harding University joined us! Their team came to Santa Rosa to see the school firsthand and explore how we can work together to make an even bigger impact.

• Mary Brumley, Director of International Student Services at Harding University

• Laura Campbell from Harding University

• Anthony Kummerfeldt, Former EFL President

Together, we met with school leaders, teachers, and local pastors to plan a future mission trip. The play area project is moving forward, and we're excited about what's ahead.
